In this game your goal is to place "road" blocks to reach from start to finish whilst covering as many Mud tiles as possible to maximise your score. There are 7 different road block shapes that are chosen at random as the next to be placed: you'll want to plan your moves to ensure you can place the blocks neatly over the level. As you progress through the game you will get opportunities to unlock useful abilities to assist you in making the perfect road as well as special tiles that can boost or lower your score.

There are 2 different game modes: 

  • "Timed": you are given a time limit to complete each level forcing you to think and make decisions quickly
  • "Relaxed": no time limit - you place your road blocks at your leisure

There are 18 levels in each mode


Basic controls:

  • LMB: click the block spawn button and hold to drag spawned block around
    • alternately [spacebar] to spawn the block to the mouse + lock placement
  • scroll wheel (whilst holding block): rotate the currently held block
    • alternately [Q] and [E] keys
  • LMB + drag (not holding a block): move camera
    • alternately [W][A][S][D] keys
  • Scroll wheel (not holding block): zoom camera in/out


This game was made using the Godot game engine. This is my first game project coming from zero programming experience. Lots of forum posts and youtube channels utilised to learn during the process.  I did ask ChatGPT to help with troubleshooting.
